Choosing the right facial cleanser is very important to our skin’s health. Of course, proper cleansing ensures maximum performance from our other skin care products. 

For oily skinned individuals, ahem, what we are looking for is a cleanser that will thoroughly clean the face minus that taut feeling.

I tried Clinique Liquid Facial Soap (Oily Skin Formula) since I was looking for a cleanser that cleanses without stripping off moisture. This Facial Cleanser is a gel type, fragrance free and non-comedogenic cleanser.

It is available 3 different formulas depending on your skin type:

1.       Extra-Mild Formula - Very Dry to Dry Skin

2.       Mild – Dry Combination skin

3.       Oily skin Formula – Combination Oily to Oily Skin

PROS

ü  One pump is enough for the whole face

ü  Convenient pump dispenses just the right amount

ü  Fresh, Clean feeling without stripping moisture in your skin

ü  Gentle enough for everyday use

ü  Oil Control for about 2 hours

ü  No irritations, breakouts

 

CONS

ü  Kinda pricey for a cleanser

ü  Not foamy

I got mine at Clinique Trinoma last December 2012 and it costs around 1250php for a 200mL bottle. Kinda pricey but one pump is enough for the whole face and after 3 months only 1/3 is consumed. It is available at all Clinique counters at Trinoma, Rustans, SM Mall of Asia.

I’m definitely going to buy this when I run out!
